APA Annual Meeting & Convention
2026 APA Annual Meeting and Convention
The American Pyrotechnics Association held its 78th Annual Meeting & Convention from September 28-October 2, 2026, at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. The convention brought together APA members, industry partners, public safety professionals, guests, and family members for business meetings, educational sessions, networking, and special events. And we even had a few special appearances by Mickey Mouse himself!
Meetings, learning, and member engagement
The convention provided time for APA members and committees to meet and address association and industry matters. The program included general sessions, roundtables, a Display Industry Forum, and a workshop, giving attendees several opportunities to learn, exchange ideas, and discuss issues affecting the pyrotechnics industry.
The primary hotel blocks were at Disney’s Yacht Club and Beach Club Resorts. After those hotels sold out, APA arranged overflow accommodations at the Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, with the Dolphin available as an additional option when needed. (This is a reminder to register early and book your hotel room early!)
