APA is the premier trade association of the fireworks industry and was
founded in 1948 with three principle aims:

To encourage
safety in the design and use of all types of fireworks.
- To provide
industry information and support to our members.
- To promote
responsible regulation of the fireworks industry.

MEETINGS
The APA holds 1 primary Meeting/Convention per year and a Winter Educational Conference bi-annually, alternating with Spring Training Programs.
- The Annual
Meeting & Convention is held in the Fall, features a Trade
Show, and is open to members only.
- The bi-annual Winter
Educational Conference features regulatory training & certification
programs, industry related educational sessions, and is open to both
members and non-members. Non-members who would like to receive conference

in the body of the message. The next Winter Educational Conference will be held in February 2009.
APA
& OSHA Alliance
The Occupational Safety & Health Administration
(OSHA) and the APA have formed an Alliance to provide training and education
on fireworks issues.
APA Conducts
