APA Advisory - #Fireworks4Honor Memorial Day Video

May 20, 2020

TO:                ,

SUBJECT:  Please Share This Video to Honor Our American Heroes

Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. On this day, we honor the men and women freedom fighters who have died while serving in the U.S. military.

Recognizing the infinite contributions of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice, the APA commissioned a short video tribute that we hope our member companies will share on their social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) this Memorial Day weekend with the hashtag #Fireworks4Honor.

While COVID-19 may change the way Americans celebrate Memorial Day, we all need to take a moment for self-reflection and to recognize and feel gratitude for the selfless service and sacrifice of these patriots. Thank you to Veverka Brothers Productions for producing this video tribute and let’s remember that brighter days lie head!
